Children Access to Resource, Education, Life and advocacy-CARELA Foundation has challenged players in education sector to play a significant role of mitigating school drop-out rate among vulnerable students in the country.
The call was made over the weekend during the donation of school learning materials worth K150, 000 to less privileged leaners at Naizi Primary School in Bangwe Township, Blantyre.
Speaking during the donation district coordinator for CARELA foundation John Kaudzu said they decided to make the donation as most vulnerable students are failing to go further with their studies due to lack of school learning resources such as bags, exercise books, school uniforms and school fund.
Kaudzu said time has come for every individual to take a responsibility of bailing out the needy students from challenges they face for the country to achieve the meaningful development.
Receiving the donation the head teacher for Naizi Primary School Paul Kamwana described the donation as timely which will promote quality education at the school.
