Primary school leaving certificate of education starts on a higher note

A snap survey by eagle online has revealed that this year’s primary school leaving certificate of educations have started well.

Students with smiling faces were seen at Jacaranda School of orphans from Chigumula Township in Blantyre where standard 8 candidates from the campus and other schools are sitting for the exams.

One of the students Marriam Jafali expressed optimism to pass the exams with flying colors and has encouraged her fellow students to continue studying hard with the remains papers.

Head mistress for Jacaranda primary school Martha Kasegwe admitted that they have not encountered any challenge during the first day of the exams.

257,129 candidates registered to sit for this year’s primary school leaving certificate of education and among the total number 133,373 are females and 123,756 are males.

The exams will run till Friday 23rd May, 2025
