Malawi Congress party aspiring Member of Parliament for Blantyre-Chichiri-Misesa Enala Shaba has pledged to continue renovating bridges in the area in order to combat mobility challenges.

Shaba said this on Monday after renovating a bridge which connect Manje and Mpachika area in Soche Township in Blantyre.

Speaking during the function, Shaba said she thought it wise to construct the bridge which was in bad shape and impassable to children and the elderly.

She further added that plans are under way to construct another bridge which will help to reduce mobility challenges people in the area including business people face during the rainy seaon.

On her part Chief Chingwalu of Traditional Authority Kapeni has hailed Shaba for her commitment to implement different development activities for the area.
